The law practice that today is Zarzaur & Schwartz started as the collections and creditors’ rights section of the Najjar Denaburg law firm.  In June 1997, Ben Zarzaur and “Chip” Schwartz left Najjar Denaburg to form their own firm. The collections practice was already located at 2209 Morris Avenue, and with approximately 35 experienced employees they never missed a beat.

From the beginning, Ben and Chip decided that the firm would dedicate its practice to accounts receivable collections and creditors’ rights.  The firm has grown steadily and rapidly during the past 10 years.  Volume has more than tripled and the client base has expanded into all areas of both commercial and consumer collections. 

There is no “secret” to the firm’s growth and continued success.  These accomplishments have been driven by our long list of loyal clients and the teamwork and dedication of the firm’s employees.  The staff has grown to more than 70, including 7 attorneys.  By working together to consistently exceed our client’s expectations, Zarzaur & Schwartz will continue to be Alabama’s leading law firm in the area of accounts receivable collections.
